In a selection process based on peer voting and credentials research, New Jersey Monthly magazine published its first “New Jersey Super Lawyers” list in the May 2005 issue.

Bruce P. Miller, Esq., Chairman of the Workers’ Compensation & Disability and Criminal Law departments and Member of the Management Committee at the New Jersey law firm of Pellettieri Rabstein & Altman, has been a perennial member of the magazine’s “Best Lawyers in New Jersey since 1995, and now a New Jersey Super Lawyer. Previously, Mr. Miller served as Chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Section and as a Member of the Workers’ Compensation Judicial Appointments Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
Edward Slaughter, Jr., Esq., Chairman of the Personal Injury & Accident department and Member of the Management Committee at the New Jersey law firm of Pellettieri Rabstein & Altman. Mr. Slaughter, a Titusville resident, is also a New Jersey Supreme Court Certified Civil Trial Attorney and “AV” rated by the Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory. Currently, Mr. Slaughter serves as a Member of the Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association and a Trustee of the Mercer County Bar Foundation. Previously, Mr. Slaughter has served as Chairman of the District VII Ethics Committee and Chairman of the Mercer County Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee. Mr. Slaughter served as an U.S. Army infantry captain in Vietnam.

Gary E. Mr. Penn, a Medford resident, as served as Director of the Division of Public Interest Advocacy and Assistant Commissioner for the New Jersey Department of the Public Advocate and served as a Member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Civil Procedure. Currently, Mr. Penn serves on the Board of Trustees of the Washington, DC-based Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health, as a Family Member on Legislative Action Committee of the New Jersey Mental Health Association, and Chairman of the Public Policy Committee of the Mental Health Association of Southwestern New Jersey.
